Harley-Davidson Museum celebrates Halloween
To celebrate Halloween, the Harley-Davidson Museum™ has transformed the site's two large, orange hoppers into ghoulish, goblin faces. Everyone is welcome to stop by the Museum to see the hoppers "in costume," located at the north and south ends of 5th Street.
Through Nov. 16, everyone who purchases an adult admission ticket to the Museum will also receive a special gift, "The 100 Years of Harley-Davidson" book by Willie G. Davidson, while supplies last. The gift is the Museum's way of saying "Thanks, Milwaukee!" for being Harley-Davidson's home for 105 years.
Visit www.h-dmuseum.com for complete details about "Thanks, Milwaukee!" and the Harley-Davidson Museum.

Beginning today, contestants have an opportunity to personally design and win a custom 2009 model Harley-Davidson motorcycle by entering the “Build It and Win It” sweepstakes presented by Harley-Davidson Genuine Motor Accessories.
The sweepstakes utilizes The Customizer (www.harley-davidson.com/customizer), an interactive web tool on a mini-site attached to harley-davidson.com that allows contestants to build a virtual dream bike based on 2009 Harley-Davidson models. On The Customizer, visitors can choose any 2009 Harley-Davidson model and then select from dozens of custom options, including Color Shop custom paint sets, Screamin’ Eagle performance components, hand and foot controls, custom front end parts and decorative collections, and add and remove them on a virtual motorcycle. As the bike is created, each new component appears on a picture of the virtual motorcycle, so a contestant can see exactly what the finished custom Harley-Davidson will look like. This dream bike can then be saved in a personal profile “Garage,” along with a convenient, printable list of each component with its part number and retail price. Read more

Harley-Davidson (NYSE: HOG) executives, board members and thousands of Motor Company customers, will remotely ring the New York Stock Exchange closing bell live from Club H.O.G.® 25 at Harley-Davidson’s 105th Anniversary celebration in Milwaukee, Wis., at 4:00 p.m. (EDT) on Thursday, August 28, 2008. Harley-Davidson representatives scheduled to participate in the closing bell ceremony include Jim Ziemer, president and chief executive officer, Harley-Davidson, Inc., and Willie G. Davidson, senior vice president & chief styling officer, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, who is also the grandson of one of the original Motor Company founders, William A. Davidson.
